IT Solutions Analyst

Summary

Our client is seeking an IT Solutions Analyst to work as subject matter expert providing a range of technical analysis and acquisition support activities to ensure projects are properly planned, executed, and managed throughout the lifecycle.



Key Responsibilities

  • Delivers service excellence daily in keeping with the company's customer service philosophy 
  • Responsible for delivering projects through its life cycle which includes assessment, design with scope of works, pilot, implementation and optimization; creates and maintains solution reference documentation. 
  • Support Sales Team by analyzing existing or potential customer environments and designs solutions frameworks selected from the company's solutions offerings.
  • Supports the company's services strategy of expanding the services solutions portfolio by providing a road map for implementation of new services solutions, e.g. service definitions and design packages
  • Contributes to proposals, contracts and project implementation plans and outcome map preparations and ensures timely and successful execution of same
  • Maintains supplier relationships in order to facilitate and deliver professional services in support and maintenance of customer accounts
  • Escalates customer issues to appropriate department head 
  • Fosters a learning organization by supporting,developing scheduling and conducting proper training on solutions for internal and external customers
  • Continuously researches market needs and developments in order to proactively provide customer solutions and enhances services portfolio
  • Maintains knowledge of global industry and local competitive developments as applicable to local and regional market 
  • Through self-study,maintains and develops industry and technical knowledge as it relates to the company's business 
  • Prepares reports and presentations to Management as required and submits in required time frames
  • Assists in annual and periodic company stock counts
  • Participates in regular department meetings, and represents departments at meetings when required or as member of various committees 
  • Work with the HSSE team to ensure compliance with HSSE standards and practices and applicable legislation


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications & Experience 

  • First degree in Computer Science,Business Computing, Information Systems or any other related discipline; or any related combination of qualifications and experience 
  • A minimum of five (5) CXC/O'Level passes including Mathematics and English (I&II)
  • Strong understanding of an object-oriented programming language such as Java, C#, C++, PHP, Python; DBMS and language such as SQL
  • Networking experience that includes WAN/LAN, TCPIP and network administration
  • Knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and Operating Systems such Windows, Linux, Unix or AS/400
  • Certificate in ITIL (Foundation & Service Design) will be an asset
  • Computer Literature/ proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • A minimum of three(3) years of experience in a professional services environment
  • Proven experience in managing projects to successful completion
  • Experience in writing proposals 
  • Very strong training and presentation skills

  • Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and dispute resolution skills
